Criminals are breaking-in to old homes ready for demolition to salvage antiques. Vancouver Police say that many items are being stolen from these ready to be torn down homes. Items being stolen include original hinges, chandeliers and old growth hardwood flooring.

These items are stolen and then sold by dealers. Police say that this is difficult crime to prevent and tackle.
