1. December 7 - 30, 2007: Enchanted Minter Garden Garden Christmas Lights
   Minter Garden is located in Chilliwack, BC. The garden is located at 10015 Young Road. Minter Gardens is offering a unique drive-thru experience where people of all ages, young and old alike, can enjoy a serene Christmas experience. Part of the proceeds will help local charities. There are over a million lights to enjoy along with nativity scenes such as 'A Night at the Circus'. The drive is one-kilometre long and you can enjoy the drive will listening on your FM station to seasonal music. The Christmas decorations are unique and a true marvel for anyone visiting BC this Christmas. Admission is based on car load and is $10 per carload for 8 passengers or less. Each additional passenger costs $2.50. A train ride is offered for $5 per person, with children under 2 being free. Ticket sales close 15 minutes prior to closing of the attraction.

   Travel East on Highway #1 and take exit ##119 Chilliwack.
   Turn left at the third light on Airport Road.
   Turn left at the first light on Young Road.
   Drive through downtown Chilliwack.
   Cross a small bridge to see Country Garden on the left.

2. December 7 - 31, 2007: VanDusen Botanical Gardens

3. December 8 - 31, 2007: Canada Place Christmas
   Canada Place corporation and the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre bring you a great holiday treat for the entire family. Stroll along the Holiday Promenade for a taste of Woodward's Christmas Windows. Meet Santa Claus and post your letter in the world's largest mailbox. 4. December 16, 2007: Nigerian Youth Group, BC
   The Nigerian Youth Group of BC will be presenting a Christmas event to help bring awareness of Nigerian and African culture. This family fair will feature traditional African cultural events such as an appearance by Kente Claus ( African Santa ). Children will be able to play authentic games with volunteers at the fair. Enjoy African food and snacks for a taste of some unique cuisine.

5. December 17, 2007: World Poetry
   Come and enjoy listening to poetry from around the world at the Downtown Library. The location is 350 W. Georgia Street. For more information please call (604) 331-4044. Admission is free.

   December 21, 2007 to January 5, 2008: Ellie King's Cinderella
